I'm 19, I spent a year at Appalachain State University, but now I'm back at home. Eventually I will go back, just not any time this year. While I was there I had the time to meet some really great people, one of whom is my boyfriend, Ryan. We've been together a little over a year now. ♥
I'm a gaming geek, I really am. I spend all of my time either reading or playing video games. Usually something from the Final Fantasy series (I'm so excited about getting a DS... they're coming out with some kind of Ivalice Series, starting with Revenant Wings, in which Vaan and Penelo are sky pirates ^.^ ) As far as reading goes, I usually pick one author and get stuck on them for a while, and try to read everything I can by them. I think it all started when I fell in love with the Hobbit... I have EVERYTHING I could get by Tolkien... from Unfinished Tales (which seriously are unfinished stories, so that kind of blows) to The Silmarillion (sort of a Middle Earth Bible) to a Tolkien Bestiary and a book of artwork. Then I moved on to Anne Rice (Although I never did read the Mayfair Witches books...I might have to go back and do that some time.) Next came Neil Gaiman, who is a wonderful author, comic book author, and movie...well everything he did with Mirrormask. Then I fell in love with Kurt Vonnegut Jr (May he rest in peace) RIGHT before his death. It really struck me. Most recently I've picked up Stephen King...I've always liked him, I had four or five of his books, but now that I've read the Dark Tower Series...well, it's on. XD That's all I've been reading for the past six months at least. I'm working on a complete collection... I'll need about four hundred more dollars.
I recently started playing Final Fantasy XI. I know, jumped on it a little late, but I never had the money for the subscription. Now I can only play on my boyfriend's account when I visit him because I don't have the proper hardware to take it home. Sad times, especially considering how addicting that game is.
I'm on the Sylph server... my name is Merope ^.^ I'm a little butt-kicking Tarutaru...well not yet, but I will be...I'm a white mage/black mage. Right now I'm only a white mage, but once I get my sublevel stuff at level 18 I'll start leveling my black mage. I'd like to be a summoner, but I've heard you have to be like... 35 or something, so that will have to wait a while. So, some day ^.^
